Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha Stapleton
Veterinarian
Dr. Stapleton is an Eubank native. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Lincoln Memorial University in 2009, she pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2014. Since earning her doctorate, she has worked as a mixed animal veterinarian and takes a special interest in reproduction services. She is excited to be back in her hometown doing what she loves. Dr. Stapleton enjoys spending time with her husband (Tim) and four children (Ollie, Lela, James, and Addyson), gardening, spending time outdoors, and reading.

Ashley
Veterinary Assistant
Ashley joined the EVC family in January 2024. Ashley grew up in Waynesburg, Kentucky, and graduated from Lincoln County High School. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Ashley has been working in the veterinary industry for 9 years, working with both small and large animals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and trail riding her horses.
Alexis
Veterinary Assistant
Alexis joined the EVC family in September of 2024 and is from Somerset, Kentucky. She is a graduate of Penn Foster and has been working in the veterinary field for 4 years, mainly in small animal medicine. Alexis has a service dog named Daisy, who is frequently seen at the clinic. She also has another dog and three cats at home that she loves spending time with, along with her friends and family.
Amanda
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda has been with EVC since the beginning and is from Somerset, Kentucky. She graduated from Southwestern High School and attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, where she earned a degree in Assistant Animal Laboratory Technology. She has worked in the veterinary industry for 10 years and lives in Somerset with her dog (Mona) and cat (Tony).

Chasity
CSR
Chasity joined the EVC family in September of 2023 and is a Pulaski County native. She graduated from Pulaski County High School and has been working in the veterinary field for 19 years, mainly in small animal medicine. She has several dogs, horses, and donkeys at home and has a love for blue heelers. Chasity enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls, playing with her horses and donkeys, artwork, and four-wheeling.
Melissa
CSR
Melissa joined the EVC family in April of 2024. She grew up in upstate New York on a standardbred breeding and racing farm. She moved to Maryland, where she continued working with horses and then started her career in small animal medicine. She recently moved to the Nancy area with her husband, and they started a micro-dairy farm. Melissa has worked in the veterinary industry for about 17 years as either a technician or a CSR. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her quarter horses, cooking/baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Kayla
CSR
Kayla joined the EVC family in October 2024. She is a native of Pulaski County. She graduated from Pulaski Co High School and attended the University of Kentucky, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Kayla has worked in the veterinary field for 4 years in small animal medicine and has a special interest in surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, crocheting, and reading.

Office Manager
Cathy is a retired registered nurse who was raised in Waynesburg, Kentucky. She is from Eubank and worked as a nurse for 25 years until she retired. She is heavily involved in the family farm, overseeing all the bookkeeping for the farming operation. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys traveling with her husband (Brian), gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
