Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha Stapleton
Veterinarian
Dr. Stapleton is an Eubank native. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Lincoln Memorial University in 2009, she pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2014. Since earning her doctorate, she has worked as a mixed animal veterinarian and takes a special interest in reproduction services. She is excited to be back in her hometown doing what she loves. Dr. Stapleton enjoys spending time with her husband (Tim) and four children (Ollie, Lela, James, and Addyson), gardening, spending time outdoors, and reading.
Dr. Ashley April
Ashley April is a central Kentucky native. Ashley has always loved animals and became interested in the health and welfare of them as a young child. She grew up on a small local farm, where she proudly resides now. Her family currently has cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. She went to undergraduate school at Eastern Kentucky University. Then completed her veterinary degree at Ross University in St Kitts, and clinical studies at Purdue University. Her most recent experience includes small animal wellness, medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is excited to expand her knowledge and expertise to include farm animal and equine care.

Alexis
Veterinary Assistant
Alexis joined the EVC family in September of 2024 and is from Somerset, Kentucky. She is a graduate of Penn Foster and has been working in the veterinary field for 4 years, mainly in small animal medicine. Alexis has a service dog named Daisy, who is frequently seen at the clinic. She also has another dog and three cats at home that she loves spending time with, along with her friends and family.
Amanda
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda has been with EVC since the beginning and is from Somerset, Kentucky. She graduated from Southwestern High School and attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, where she earned a degree in Assistant Animal Laboratory Technology. She has worked in the veterinary industry for 10 years and lives in Somerset with her dog (Mona) and cat (Tony).
Brody
Brody is from Waynesburg, KY in Lincoln County. He’s a member of Calvary HIll Baptist Church, but he also enjoys talking to God in a tree stand. When he is not hunting or fishing, he can be found riding the roads in his truck with a Dr Pepper in one hand and Brittany Spears playing through the speakers. The one thing he loves most is his amazing girlfriend, Allie. His lunch breaks always consist of mac and cheese and a few more of those Dr Peppers.
Lauren
Lauren is a native of Nancy, Ky in Pulaski County. She has worked in veterinary medicine for the last 13 years. Lauren has always had a love for animals which lead her into this career path. She currently resides in Nancy, KY with her husband and her furry children Jordy and Ari. When she is not helping to take care of your furry family, she enjoys playing video games and spending time with her family.

Chasity joined the EVC family in September of 2023 and is a Pulaski County native. She graduated from Pulaski County High School and has been working in the veterinary field for 19 years, mainly in small animal medicine. She has several dogs, horses, and donkeys at home and has a love for blue heelers. Chasity enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls, playing with her horses and donkeys, artwork, and four-wheeling.

Office Manager
Cathy is a retired registered nurse who was raised in Waynesburg, Kentucky. She is from Eubank and worked as a nurse for 25 years until she retired. She is heavily involved in the family farm, overseeing all the bookkeeping for the farming operation. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys traveling with her husband (Brian), gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
